Having had a look into it I reckon you're right with Commersonia breviseta. It seems to be well known from the region which is nice. Thank you so much for you're help Jason!
Yeah, before identifying or confirming this as that, i suggest you need to check the other two closely related species, and show that it is not them. I reckon! it does most look like C. breviseta but in the time i spent yesterday could not yet prove it wasn't one of the other two related species . Some places all three spp. grow nearby together . That's why i did not alreayd add here a suggested identification to C. breviseta .
And, you're welcome. It was a good challenge to approach closer to identification based on evidences shown here, and learning more about Commersonia spp., for me yesterday .
