User's notes

I tipped my lemon and limes privett trimmings into my green bin when I saw this spider scurrying back into the plastic chop container. I got my camera but the light was poor and the spider became this weird shape - I even questioned it was a spider until its legs all popped out for a bit and then it closed back into the shape again! a camo spider. cool. About 1.5 - 2cm across (without legs).

They are a master of camouflage aren't they! Haven't seen a photo with their legs out in some time so it's very cool you managed to capture it. Exciting to say it's the first sighting submitted to NatureMapr from the Albury-Wodonga region thus far :)

TY Yumi. my amazement level is still humming from this sighting. The legs out was like an anemone - really just waving about - not going anywhere, and then back in.
